Purpose: To motivate, equip, and mobilize members to meet unconditionally the expressed needs of people around them.
Our Work
In our Caribbean communities we all face problems such as poverty, disease, disaster, and other social problems. these ever-present problems present unlimited opportunities for God’s people to experience the joy of service in providing compassionate care that alleviates and prevents suffering, thus opening doors to reach people with the hope of Jesus Christ in the midst of their struggles.
Both the Community Services and Personal ministries departments endeavour to provide the resources and training expertise to facilitate the efforts by the church to fulfil this commission. Jesus observed while on Earth that there were fewer workers than the work required in Luke 10:2 it says He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. This is the focus of these Ministries.
Its work also includes:
- Promoting services and resources that help members across the union maintain a strong personal relationship with Jesus
- Facilitate and support programs to develop inspiring ministry leaders promoting the outreach efforts of the church.
- Equipping and enabling members to ministry through training initiatives.
